We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Software Engineers with a passion for exploring / exploiting cutting edge technologies in support of National goals to join the team in Bellevue, WA.

This includes incrementally progressing promising concepts into operations through an Amazon Web Services cloud based dev/sec/ops environment. 
Position Responsibilities:

  • Assist with continuous development / continuous integration for developing and sustaining new and existing applications within an Agile development team
  • Contribute to the creation of new distributed components and interactions that align with the future system architecture along with the required DevOps.  The existing multi-tiered system is developed on a cloud infrastructure with several consumer-facing web applications.
  • Provide hands-on development, primarily in the areas of: 1) Software architecture concepts, primarily cloud-based solutions; 2) Cloud-based service models, such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS); and 3) Cutting edge cloud-native data analytics tools and solutions.
  • Develop automated unit and end-to-end test scripts
  • Lead and conduct design and code review sessions
  • Conduct research and development and ensure successful deployment of emerging new technologies

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with microservice architecture; including designing, developing and implementing scalable, elastic microservices
  • Experience using DevOps/CI-CD and supporting tools such as TFS, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Artifactory, Git
  • Experience developing software products in a cloud computing environment, preferably with Amazon AWS
  • Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with configuring, running, and maintaining Amazon Web Services including IAM, EC2, VPC , and Lambda. Experience building, deploying, scaling, and maintaining applications on Kubernetes. Linux system administration experience.
  • AWS certifications as well (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Developer).

Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Radds  is seeking DevOps Software Engineer (Junior) to join our team of talented engineers.

Required Education / Years of Experience:

  • No demonstrated experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Required Skills/Qualifications (What You Must Have):

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Experience designing, implementing, and improving Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud-native containerization tools, such as Kaniko, Jib, Buildpacks, etc.
  • Experience designing minimal, reproducible runtime container images.
  • Experience with build processes and tooling for several programming languages.
  • Experience writing Linux shell scripts to facilitate application integration using a one or more appropriate server-side languages (i.e. Shell, Python, etc.)
  • Ability to document usage, implementation patterns, and design decisions.
  • Ability to work on a dispersed team using realtime chat and virtual meeting tools.
  • Experience generating and tracking a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM).
  • Experience with Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), particularly within the context of CI.
  • Full Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) experience that includes two (2) years or more of:​
    • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
    • Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
    • Debug existing software and correct defects
    • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
    • Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
    • Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
    • A combination of both new software development and capabilities enhancement
    • Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components
    • Assisting with development and execution of test procedures for software components
    • Experience developing applications interfacing with REST-based APIs/services in Apache Tomcat/Java or NodeJS.

 Desired Experience/ Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Modify the repository schema of an existing application to support new data items, develop data mining and data ingest processes for new data, and support integration with middle-tier and back-end APIs
  • Administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the application
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment
  • Experience managing software code using Git & MAVEN
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence

Radds ’s business in Seattle WA, is seeking up to two self-driven, organized, and dynamic Business Process Analysts (level 2) to support our cross-functional team focused on expanding market share in an exciting, growing technology area. The desired candidates are service oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, who can work with minimal oversight and is adept at supporting multi-disciplinary technical teams. This individual will assist program teams in implementing and executing a variety of business processes supporting multiple customers and programs.

You will work under supervision, supporting process team facilitation with logistics and process data recording and will participate in documenting business processes and data models. You must understand established document control procedures and guidelines to complete assignments. You will support efforts to eliminate and/or consolidate process documentation. You will need to understand the application of process standards, guidelines, methods and tools.

The ideal candidate is organized, a strong communicator, open to new opportunities and experiences on a wide range of business functions and works well as part of a multi-functional team. Candidate should have strong Microsoft skills, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects and implementation activities. Understands the customer's processes.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of general database concepts. Participates in peer-group reviews of designs and creates and maintains documentation, with limited guidance.
  • Coordinate material procurements for multiple defense contracts and internal research projects, including ensuring process compliance to Federal Acquisition Regulation and Radds requirements, data entry and analysis, preparation of reports for program managers, and proposal support. 
  • Communicates with internal customers to assist in the identification and resolution of issues to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Assists in facilitating process management teams. Assists in facilitating appropriate use of process methods and tools within a structured or defined environment, such as team meetings. Assists in collecting, analyzing, and documenting requirements from process owners. Participates in documenting business processes and data models.
  • Uses established document control procedures and guidelines to complete assignments. Supports efforts to eliminate and/or consolidate process documentation.
  • Assists in applying process standards, guidelines, methods and tools. Basic understanding of quality principles and quality management system.
  • Understanding of current strategic initiatives and ability to assist with business case justification related to these strategies.
  • Prepares customer/program specific, charts and reports for other functional leads and management to support tracking of key metrics, such as procurement elements (e.g., supplier cost, delivery, and quality), program status (cost, schedule, technical status), etc.
  • Solid understanding of brand management as it applies to producing professional documents and other publications for internal use and deliverables to customers and other external entities.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent 3 years prior experience in related occupational field

Radds is now looking for a Data Scientist to join our team in Bellevue  Washington / Remote 

As a Data Scientist, you will:

  • Work closely with our clients, customers, partners, and other departments to develop software and configure the solutions for our clients' business needs
  • Support determination of data analysis goals given business objectives. Match data to requirements and performance metrics to support analysis
  • Perform data analysis to meet business objectives: prepare data for analysis (cleansing, conditioning, transforming, handling missing fields, identifying new feature variables) and handling multi-variety data
  • Investigate and apply best-fit methods and algorithms, validate results and perform necessary data preparation and enhancements to models:
    - modify and analyze standardized data sets using analytics techniques such as machine learning, statistical analysis, mathematical optimization, and simulation;
    - identify modeling attributes and parameters, algorithms to create descriptive, predictive, or prescriptive models to achieve analysis and project deliverables.
  • Perform standard procedures in evaluation and validation of the accuracy of models and analysis. Support evaluation and validation of the performance of models and analysis
  • Investigate data characteristics, complexity, quality, and meaning. Through visualizations and summarizations define performance, identify trends, outliers, and drivers
  • Deal with technical challenges and programming tasks as well as handling client expectations

  • MSc or BSc in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, or other analytics intensive field

  • Fluent Russian, good command of spoken and written English, within the professional domain


Preferred competencies:

  • VBA scripting in EXCEL
